I know poker in real life is highly dependent on mathematical analysis

Except Casinos don't like it when you do that.

Not when you're playing blackjack, but poker is played against other gamblers, not the house. Why would the casino have a problem with that?

There's no reason that you can't base gambling off multiple multiple skills. Combined disguise and persuasion roll for bluffing, stealth for cheating, science for an overall bonus (up to a cap - you don't exactly need to be a nuclear phycisist to calculate odds).

And if you win too much the Casino should try to kill you.

Casinos should try to confiscate your weapons at the entrance like in Fallout, but you can refuse and shoot the place up. Yes I enjoy living out my Fallout New Vegas moments.

I don't really see a reason for casino gambling to be any more complicated than other fundraising like prostitution, drug dealing, or identity theft, where you just tell someone to do that every day and it just happens in the background unless something important happens. Site mode fundraising is bad in general due to how it generally gives you much better in-game returns in exchange for wasting your real-life time.

Casino gambling isn't really a hot-button issue related to the LCS's mission, either, even though you can fit anything under one of the "conservative" or "liberal" umbrellas if you try hard enough. Casinos have lots of money you could rob, but so do banks, and banks are the sort of conservative financial institution that the LCS would prefer to target. There isn't much reason to make casinos a big deal, at least in the vanilla game.

Monte Carlo rule: casino is a money leech (they make money by taking it from people and giving back less than what they take), so ideally it doesn't let locals play.  Instead, it's a tourist attraction.

My LCS would oppose a casino.  Probably Vandalize the place, maybe breach the vault provided it wasn't considered a Conservatively Violent operation that tended to generate bad press.

(Same reason my folks don't do vault breaches at a bank.  There might be Liberal accounts there that we just nailed.  A casino, fleecing folks to line its own pockets, or a corporate HQ that exploits the citizenry (or a CEO that does the same), ought to be better targets.)

You know that when breaching a vault, you're taking money from the banks, not the account holders, right?

I'm imagining Vegas in the multi-city mode, where all buildings in town are replaced with casinos of different styles.

What is robbing an Bank against founding a Bank ? --Berthold Brecht

Another Idea : Let the player invest in a safehouse, and found a casino. Of course, for actually making a profit you must assign liberals a "casino staff" activity. Send some other prostituting, and the LCS is literally financed by Blackjack and Hookers.

Combine this, with the "running for presdident" YANI, and the President of the USA is an ex-terrorist, now working as a pimp, who finaces his campaign from a casino with an unmatching front, that was formerly a crack-house.

I do.  Then there's FDIC insurance, and all that.  Someone should get a founder named Jim DeGriz.  But at the end of the day, folks still hate you for a vault breach.

If this addition to the game lets me go into a casino with 6 dogs in expensive suits to play poker. Then I am 100% for it.

Just thought I'd post an update. Between school and work I've gotten embarrassingly little done on this. My biggest change so far consists of basing poker off of multiple skills in accordance with previous suggestions. In order to win a game, you now have to pass Persuasion, Psychology, and Disguise skill checks.
