Things that Amazed You Today Thread
« on: September 14, 2014, 11:01:59 am »

So, I'm rarely a sucker for gadgets- own an Android inherited from my mother, and a mid-range laptop that runs Windows- but I have been overcome by techno-lust for the Apple Watch. It can take calls. It can listen to music. It can store my photos. It can keep track of my appointments. It can text.

The future is now!

I bought a $70 alarm clock today which wakes me up better than my $200 I had prior for about 2 years.

What sort of alarm clock is this that's worth $200, or even $70?  :o For years I woke up to the chirping of a $10 alarm clock from Target, and these days I just let my phone handle it.

The $200 radio and music (etc) player with light and everything. $70 one was simply a cut down version of that.

These are UK prices and from what I have heard tech is cheaper in the US.
