What are the exact requirements for taking over a site?
« on: September 20, 2014, 05:02:57 am »

I've made it my mission to conquer a dark fortress, but I'm having trouble getting people to recognize me as the leader. I've claimed the site numerous times, and in the presence of numerous goblins. I killed a few hundred goblin civilians while searching for the main tower. The dwarf named as the site leader was dead by the time I entered the main tower, evidently killed by the clown master. I caused the death of the clown master by making him dodge off the edge of a staircase, so I didn't get credit for killing him, either. Now, when I ask who the site leader is, the goblins name the leader's old group, but no individual is named as leader. Since then, I've freed dozens of prisoners and asked some of them to join me in an insurrection. Clearly I'm missing something, here. Does anyone know what I need to do to be recognized as the official leader?

Edit: it looks like I did get credit for killing the master, after all. I can't find the option to tell people about it in the conversation menu, though.

ISTR that only human sites can be taken over at the moment, due to a bug which requires you to walk in to the tower for that site... which only human sites have.
