Well, I'm thinking of my most recent "holy lord this is a bunch of terrifying psychodorfs" squad which ended up being something like 5 axe lords and a couple of hammer/pick switchhitters, 6/7 female, by the second year of them training together regularly waiting to explode more goblin sieges I decided to check over what else I could crosstrain them in weapon-wise only to discover they were all legendary or almost-legendary biters... yikes.

Though I can't decide whether the shield should be gripped by the strap so you get a dorfblender running at you blindly, or held like a dog catching a frisbee...
