I don't know where I should post this, so don't hate.
When I download Masterwork and try to extract the files with mZIP, all the documents(notepad, word .etc) are empty and the game cannot open. May I have any suggestions why this is happening (and where to post future problems).

Try a mirror. Never hard of mzip though, so maybe try winrar or 7z.

In general empty documents can be a symptom of a corrupted download, but lots of people have d/l this Masterwork version successfully, so i'd be surprised if it's a problem that Meph can diagnose on his end.

Not trying to be snarky but probably the right place to post this is in mZIP tech support, or better yet, don't waste your time and use something else.  I just did a very quick search (on the windows 8 store) and mZIP gets an pretty insane number of 1 star reviews

edit: "worst software ever," "opens files 5% of time, can't uninstall, not sure if virus".  Even the 4 & 5-star reviews are like "hey, surprisingly adequate so far!"    Way to go Microsoft

I would copy and paste some of the funny reviews verbatim but you can't actually use the text cursor in the Microsoft store 
Even the 4- and 5-star reviews include such features as:

* Doesn't work, but I am happy anyway because of my spiritual life
* Worked at first!  But now my files are 0 bytes.
* Great picture of three (3) dachshunds

Use 7zip

I really don't get why people would choose some random unknown zip program, when winzip, 7zip and winrar are basically working like a charm, and have been for years.

Hell, even the default one put in Explorer (in 7, at least) is able to open and extract zip archives just fine.

Well, that's one more reason to put on the reasons as for why I won't use windows 8 until I am forced to.
