Your next few steps grant you entrance into the jungle, the canopy acting as a shield against the radiant sun. The foliage is denser than anything you'd seen before, or even imagined. Ferns caress your ankles, leaves brush against your shoulders. He's already ahead of you, his machete swinging around him like a pendulum, slicing through the fauna like they were practice dummies made out of straw. He flashes that grin to you, the grin that elicits feelings of both annoyance and security. He knows what he's doing.
"City cat like you hasn't seen this type of shrub before, aye'?" His muted blonde hair and accent are of somewhere both exotic and familiar, but you haven't bothered to ask for his origins yet. He's just your guide after all.
"Well, what are you waiting for? You cahn't stand there, we're burning sunlight out here!" You follow him because after all, you must. How else...?

Age: Most likely somewhere between 13 and 65, anyone outside that range isn't fit to go through the jungle.
Appearance: Anything from a sentence to a paragraph concerning your physical traits would be fine.
