Odd Headaches
« on: June 04, 2014, 12:53:18 am »

So for the last few days I've been feeling like I've been having hangovers...

My Head hurts and it feels like I've been punched in the eyeballs (my eyes are also somewhat swollen, but that is likely unrelated).

Now normally this is where I'd question my hydration but...
1) I've been drinking plenty of liquids anyway...
and
2) I haven't given up anything...

It COULD be related to my allergy medication, but I've been taking it before these problems.

I do know that the first day I had it, the problem went away after a meal... and for the meal I had a steak sandwich, fries, 3 pops, and 2 waters.

I'll try drinking a ton... maybe my body is just shedding a lot of liquids for some reason.

Migraine. I don't know what to do about it, but those are textbook migraine symptoms. Google from there?

Also, pay a visit to your doctor and have him check your blood sugar levels. Could also be diabetes developing.

Oh god the memories.  Had some where it actively felt like the world was closing in on me and expanding at the same time.  Oddly enough, I felt like I was at a shoe store.

Or mild/oncoming flu - I know I feel like that just as it's starting, or if I manage to shake it off.

Lack of sleep.

And yea, dehydration - drinking more water is easy to test.

I don't usually take antihistamines (is that your allergy medication?) but I did once  + sitting in front of computer screen a lot made me feel like crap - I gather they both dry out the eyes...

The 4 most likely things I can think of.

Looking at this again (you guys know the thread is months old, right?) I'm inclined to say it's almost certainly migraines, since caffeine acts as a vascular dilatant and would alleviate the problem, as well as the other symptoms being migraine symptoms. Guess what Neonivek drank before he felt better? Three sodas. Sodas contain caffeine.

Whoops, I necroed a thread.   ::)  Oh well.  Cool to know the answer is probably caffeine withdrawal.  Necromancy success!
