If it's a scorpion, that means it has an arachnid body. As far as I know, this thing will have web shooting. Be careful, poisonous stings could be harmless, or reduce your dwarves to a puddle of goo. One of my dwarves fought with a rather easy looking forgotten beast, who had a noxious fumes that seemed to only cause pain or something unnoticeable. My military were sent to the hospital, only to turn to puddles of liquid dwarf blood with no corpse left behind, just lots of blood and armor.

Unfortunately there were no webs - or even injuries. He broke a door and then missed every single attack he made on my dwarves before dropping dead.

Dammit. I love watching my military do titanic battles against FB's. I had a giant, iron,  flying ape one time, who thirsted for blood. I decided this fort had gone on long enough, twelve years, and throw every single dwarf at it. Everyone had a few pieces of iron armor, and a wooden shield. Probably a few cast-off weapons. No flux stone, so only one dwarf was made with steel. And he was a hammer dwarf. So while 180 dwarves through themselves at this guy, he shrugged off everything, even a volley of three iron ballista bolts I set up, all three hit. After about twenty minutes, he finally killed the last dwarf. It was fun.
