Bug? Domestic Animals from Retired Sites wearing clothing.
« on: September 05, 2014, 10:11:22 pm »

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this before, I searched for related articles but found none so I thought I'd bring it up.
I had a fortress in it's early stages but was unhappy with the site, so I briefly retired the fortress in order to play some adventure mode.
I thought I'd check on the civilization with my adventurer (a human), because I knew my previous fort had horses and I wanted to see if I could use one as a mount. Upon finding a horse and observing it, I realized that it was completely clothed in apparel from head to hoof, in clothing suited to it's size. It even had 4 socks and 4 shoes.
I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this phenomenon before or if this may be due to a bug.
I am still playing version 0.40.08 but I checked to see if this was one of the bugs fixed on the newest release and couldn't see anything related to this.
I would like to hear from anyone who has also had this happen, or if anyone could explain why this happened.
I will try and print screen some images of this happening, as it can be quite hilarious.

24 dwarves attack a werebeast, try to wrestle him to the ground, the injured part sails off in an arc, 23 dwarves are left to fight now.

I believe his intention was to mount a horse...not an adventurer.

Carry-on.

He knew what he said...

Also, I hope this means we can finally mod in some armoured war dogs and such.
