Channel Wierdness

I have a beautiful magma channel near the entrance to my fort. However, something odd is wrong with the ending part of it. I can't bridge it, even though it's filled with magma and it's possible to bridge the rest of the channel. I can also select this particular part of the channel with "q" which is not possible with the rest of it. What's up with that, and will it be possible to bridge?

Yeah there are a few bugs with channels.
for you it's probably multiple channel buildings on one square. Usually it's fixed by running water or magma through it but I guess that didn't work?

Alas, it did not. Damn, now it won't be even with the top water "river". I could use one of the utilities... but I don't want to cheat. Then again, this IS a  bug. Hm...
