Exactly what it says on the tin.  While I like being able to search for the English translation of names, Often times I only record the native names of people or places.

I know there are things I'd rather have regarding searching, but this one is up there.

Legends mode search; Legends Viewer has it implemented, but DFHack doesn't.

I must be missing something here. If pisskop is referring to the Legends mode filter, it already does filter by both translated and untranslated names.

personally i think it would have been nice to have a search functionality based on species, so I could type "goblin" and it will show all of the goblin legends etc.

THis would indeed be bery useful for legends mode search.

It would also be nice to be able to search by creature type (ie. Dwarf, Elf, Goblin, God, Forgotten Beast, Night Creature, etc.)
