Does getting this message twice upon discovering the magma sea mean that I have two separate clown cars on my map, or just two spires?

I've had more than one spire. I am pretty sure I've had three but after all that plump helmet wine one can never be sure . I do want to know the answer though in case someone knows.

It means you discovered 2 distinct "deep special tube" map features (i.e. adamantine veins) - each one generates its own announcement. HFS can emerge from either one, but it will still only be discovered once per embark region.
