frozen synapse 2 is growing toward greater goal with a full city with buildings to interact and things to do. trailer is scant of details, but factions alliances and gameplay make it looks like a modern xcom apocalypse.

This looks promising. Reminds me of Subversion in scope.

I liked FS I just couldn't play a lot of it. Once I got to the higher levels I didn't feel like there was anything to look forward to other than methodically deconstructing yet another level. Once rocket launchers were involved I kinda went meeeeehhhhh and stopped playing.

A world attached to all that is just what it needs to get me really interested. The gameplay is fun to a degree but having something to hang gameplay off of is better.
