Goblins conquered mountain home :(
« on: August 02, 2014, 01:24:32 pm »

I started my mountain home specifically in spot with tower, pit and goblins in range, in order to have some fun with my military. Unfortunately Goblin conquered my mountain-home before ever giving me visit. Is there a way I can get back in war with goblins?

Does pit do anything? I couldn't find any data about them.

Dark pits are to goblins what cities are to humans.

They will always conquer your mountain homes during play eventually, since all post-world gen invasions are victorious regardless of the attacker/defender ratio.

In time, one of your dwarves at your fort should become the monarch, and thus making your fort the new mountain home. But I'm pretty sure the goblins would come to attack your fort regardless, even if it would take some time.
