Can I actually USE the plants I gather?
« on: August 02, 2014, 12:43:35 am »

Hi,
My herbalists have gathered many types of plants that, as far as I can tell, I can't actually use? For instance, garlic plants, raspberry bushes, and string bean plants. Now, each of these plants has some edible or cookable/brewable growth, but my dorfs won't use it for that? My raspberry bushes won't show up in the Kitchen menu for brewing, and my garlic doesn't show up under cooking. Is there some step I'm missing? 'Cuz it ain't "process plants to bag," is all I know. (I've processed quarry bushes, but when I run out it cancels the job, and also those other plants don't have any BAG_ITEM in the raws.)

I've noticed that "peppers" can be processed into "peppers" with a normal 'process plants' job, not process to bag. Might work for others too.
