Yeah. I claim the title of having ASCENDED first by killing a giant sponge in fair combat.

It's in my personal text.

What would you consider fair combat against a sponge? I think I was the first to mention it in another thread, but gloat if you want, lol.

Using a weapon to destroy it.

"The part is cloven asunder!" - from enough slashy type damage
"The part is crushed!" - from a moderately high amount of squishy damage
"The part is pushed into the body, an unrecognisable mass!" - squishy damage again
"The part explodes into gore!" - lots of blunt squishy damage

There might be other pulping messages, but I don't recall them.

There is also 'torn into pieces', which I learned by being ambushed by a giant zombie lion in the middle of a town.
