I'm not picking the dark mage cuz 1. He evil 2. We already have a mage and 3. Because we can't train him

Well, just to clarify - That would leave you with no mage, as Olmor and Sux are both "faith-typed support". Not saying you necessarily need a mage, as "synergy" is also important. Olmor would develop into offensive support, Sux into devensive support, Ss'er into offensive damage, Nif is already defensive damage.
Vathug either into offensive damage, or defensive damage, Resm into offensive damage.

On a footnote, while neutral alignment is the most common in the Tribeslands, evil holds a better share than good. Expect a rather high proportion of evil candidates.

Lawful evil is fiiine. You wanna watch out for chaotic evil.

And then even still, that kind of morality system is rather flawed. Necromancy is said to be an automatic evil, even though it's entirely possible for a necromancer to simply work as a medium. A vampire could be a well respected noble, who only feeds on willing volunteers and uses his vast treasury to ensure his peasants have hospitals and schools. A lich could be doing any number of things that are beneficial. Providing cheap labor via the corpses of people who signed up for body donation before they died, ensuring spirits pass over and removing large groups of ghouls from the countryside.

I really dislike the morality system in D&D. It's flat out flawed. I had a whole campaign based around that lich concept that I ran a while back with some people. Dropped lil hints that the lich wasn't the BBEG like they thought he was. They killed him anyways and invoked the wraith of the entire kingdom cause he was a really nice and important person~

Besides some final touches to classes, it looks good for an update today.

If in the meantime someone wants to break the tie on taking the peasants, all the better. ;3

And then even still, that kind of morality system is rather flawed.

I usually just go "Fuck the alignment system, gimme your character's personality and we'll use that instead." when I DM.

The Newcomers

Deciding on four of the seasoned adventurers, you sent out an invitation to them. To your surprise, all of them are able to arrive within a rather short amount of time.

Sux'osmlo Zoradato, Goblin, Level 3 Animist, Chaotic Neutral 12/45 XP, 68 Gold

First of the lot to arrive, the scent of incense strongly wafts about the goblin and the same's backpack. During a foray into Redcrags, his former home, but also on two other occasions during your talk, he falls into sudden, deep thought. A behaviour reminiscent of Galusk in his younger years, Sux'osmlo also opts to share quarters with the same.

The equipment he has acquired, is of good quality, his Earring of Minor Detect Magic also worth a notion.

Olmor Nar-Nok, Orc, Level 2 Clergy, Lawful Neutral 2/30 XP, 31 Gold

The future Zealot is second to arrive, and before he takes up quarter, you have a little chat. From what you gather during this talk, he is already well-versed in his scripture, partly due to his original plan on becoming a judge one province further. Sadly the post was not to be his, and afterwards he vowed himself into taking a more direct approach with his faith.

Besides his Morning Star and the Battlebound Oaths of Golmag , his equipment is lagging a bit behind.

Ss'er Vuzh, Lizardkin, Level 2 Fighter, Neutral Evil 7/30 XP, 47 Gold

Greeting the Vuzh daughter, you find her to have grown up nicely... especially as an adventurer. Curt to a fault, the female lizard seems anxious to go out there and better herself, partly due to having much to live up to with her family name. After a short inquiry to the state of the same, you go on to exchange some news from the western marshes.
Claiming a hovel for herself, she has loudly declared that any man who dares to enter, should either be prepared to fight her, or come in pursuit of romantic interest - Galusk and yourself sharing a hearty chuckle at the expense of her youthful disposition afterwards.

As expected from her family, Ss'er has been gifted with a full Adventurer-Set of equipment, and a Great-Cleaver of Minor Strength.

Nif Arleik, Human, Level 2 Beastmaster, Neutral Good 43/150 XP, 152 Gold

Having to travel from the eastern outskirts of union lands, Nif and his wolfhound arrive last. While there isn't much to catch up to, you do so either way, especially focusing your observation on Akej's development. About halfway through your examination of the hybrid canine, a hiss from above declares this as enough attention towards someone else' animal.

The human is a steep step ahead of the rest of the group, as is visible in him sporting a Composite Bow of Medium Agility, and a Medallion of Minor Repel Curse.

~

At the groups first complete union, the spirits are light, partly due to Galusk's opening of a new cask. By the morning hours, all the mead is gone, in no small part by the provider himself.
While the tribeslanders are by no means ecstatic about the human, introducing him as your pupil seems to have had the desired effect. After you have attested Nif's trustworthiness to Olmor by oath, even the orc seems satisfied, and actively tries to acquaint themselves.

There is also some bonding over the fifth member of the team, with the others impressed by the diligently war-trained animal. This results in the canine receiving an increasing amount of pets as the night drags on - albeit this time without hissing from the treetops.
Sux'osmlo and Olmor have both decided to accept tutelage from Galusk, who will henceforth cause a positive influence on their development.

~

The group has not yet truly settled themselves into their new home, nor chosen a name for their group, when a troublesome suspicion comes true. One, that easily could pass as the groups first job.

Gnoll Attacks
Snitcher-Gnolls have been scouting and attacking the odd traveller along the trade-route nearby, most likely having seen the troops Olghelm contributed to the skirmishes in the south. A vile race of marauders, which never has been considered for incorporation to the tribes, they will undoubtedly become more daring if left unharried.

While attacking one of their main-camps would be a Dangerous Affair at best, disposing of their advance-camps, while they still try to get a feel for Olghelms current capacities, should be Challenging at worst.
Spoiler: Further Details (click to show/hide)

Please choose the following:

A name for the team:
Decide if you want to send them:
If yes, decide how long:

Alignment
As you see in the "Further Details"-Spoiler, this group has some differential viewpoints. These + and - can cancel each other out, and else will affect the overall morale of the individual in question. Needless to tell, such decisions can also pop up unanounced, during a mission.

Disclaimer
Also in the spoiler, is how far I plan to take descriptions of violence. If something happens in combat, that is part of it and will go uncensored. Any actions of torture, however, will be more hinted at than explained in detail.

Next update will see us on the road. Unless you want another mission. ;o
Drawing the canine, I had to throw in the towel. Maybe tomorrow.
