Where is there an upward slope?
« on: July 31, 2014, 10:42:55 am »

I've been making downward staircases with some adjacent tiles channeled in order to make them look pretty in Stonesense.

(Sorry about the low quality and massive size.)

At 1, you can see beside the staircase there are some dots, where there is just empty space. However, when I tried this at 2, there is a downward slope for some reason at the southernmost point. Does anyone know why there is a slope, if I channeled it succesfully?

I am using 0.34, by the way.

Thank you. :)

if the tile below the point you are channeling is dug out, you will get a channel.
If the tile below the point you are channeling is still undug, you'll get a ramp.

Thanks for responding!

I understand now. But how does one get rid of the ramp?

on the level below you can remove it by using (d)esignate >> remove ramp(z)
