Lycantrophical issues...
« on: July 28, 2014, 04:25:49 pm »

My Mason/Wereweasel/Mass Murderer just gave birth to a lovely little girl while in quarantine.

Now, assuming the kid didn't inherit her mother's ungodly disease, I will want to save the kid.
My question is: will someone take care of the kid while the mother is in lockdown?

Yes. They should.
Dwarves should have the jobs: Give water and give food. generated by the child.
you will need a secure source of water though.

That leads me to another issue, my only source of water is my moat, which get water directly from a river.

However, I've already had a wounded Dwarf die from dehydration even though access to the moat was clear and I had plenty of buckets. Do I need a well or is this a bug?

(the ramps in the moat have been removed in case that is relevant)

edit: Nevermind! I tried seperating the baby from the mother but she turned into a wereweasel a little sooner than expected. Killed most of my militia.

She turned back into a human again but the damage has been dealt.
