Can I please use my zweihander as a crutch? The bastards are six feet long, it should do the trick.

Related: rename two-handed swords to zweihanders.

Maybe you do have a crutch, but it's sized for kobolds (quite possibly the very kobold who knifed off your leg), so you use the crutch as a splint so you can use the leg as a crutch.

That's a solution to the knee problem.

A makeshift crutch from wood would indeed be an obviously necessary addition to the game. We already have an adventure mode crafting system, so a long stick would seem like a perfectly reasonable alternative to crawling from town to town in hopes of finding a crutch.
