Question about [MAAAAJOR SPOILERS]

If an adventurer manages to obtain items constructed from divine metals, brings them to a retired fort, and that fort is then unretired, can the dwarves at that fort use said items, or melt them down and forge the metal into new items?

I don't see why not. There's even the added bonus that these divine materials are not made of [WAFERS] (hmm, I wonder if that's a bug), so duplicating them will be much easier.

Divine metal coins should work, right?

Speaking of which.. The only way to split coins stacks in dwarf mode, is to sell part of a stack to the merchants, then buy it back?

That's the only way that I'm aware of,  yes.

according to Legends mode kobolds steal bracelets and such from vaults quite a lot. It might be easier to rob them than to rob Demon vaults of doom and despair.
