If that pepper repels elephants, I can't imagine how hot it is...

Actually I think it might be a good idea to point the elephant in whatever direction you want it pointing in BEFORE you feed it the chili, of the simple reason that trying to point it anywhere afterwards might prove a bit... difficult.

Apparently eating one is half as bad as spraying pepper spray down your throat, so eat two for the full effect.  :p

Surely it's probably not that hot at all? It's presumably the elephant's long and sensitive nose that causes it to repel them. Short trunked humans wouldn't be as effected

That was a habanero pepper, which is weak compared to the type they're using to keep elephants away. Check the link I posted above.

Ah, I didn't check to see if it was the same pepper. But that just means, It will have ATLEAST the effect of the guy in the video...! Ugh, sounds scary..!!
