Every time I try to give military squads a Kill order (Whether with a specific single target or using the rectangle feature) they freeze stupidly and when I look at their current job with the v (View) button they show (No Valid Target). This has to be some kind of bug, because even the ordering them to kill the Drow beating them in the face results in this. I tried genning a new world, ordered my first soldier to kill the rattlesnakes on the map, and it still happened. I'm going to try to re-install MDF.
I mentioned this in a post a day or so ago in the Dwarf thread (this is all in Dwarf Fortress mode), and no one seemed to notice, so I decided to bring it up here in its own thread.
Has anyone else had this bug? If so, do they know a solution?
