World Gen Question
« on: July 12, 2014, 04:35:33 am »

What are the optimum settings for a adventurer's world in Dwarf Fortress 2014?
I'd prefer someone provide me both normal world gen and advanced world gen settings.

That is entirely a matter of preference, and has no solid answer.

I prefer medium worlds with lots of forests. It also bothers me when the cold area of the world is in the South, for some reason. I like large swaths of explorable wilderness as well, without too much civilization.

DF 2014 in it's current state can and will die if your world is too large or it's history too long, go for a short history and a small world.
