Infinite blood covering

My demigod adventurer just left his town to go south to a dark fortress. I started sneaking around, then hopped in a river. I noticed my character started giving off blood and I get out of the river and look at my covering. I am completely covered in goblin blood, haven't killed anything yet or even encountered anything. I get in the river and keep swimming along just coating all the river banks with blood. It doesn't stop. Just thought you guys should know as I don't feel like putting a bug report anywhere else.

Press W and watch in awe as it is raining goblin blood because you are in an evil region.

huh. Usually it shows blood splatters as it rains. That's weird.
