Linking Pastures
« on: July 09, 2014, 08:53:24 pm »

Basically the same as linking stockpiles and workshops, but with animals. With a couple controls. So you could send newborns to a specific pasture, possibly even automatically segregate males and females automatically, and also send animals to a different pasture when they reach maturity.

Thoughts? It'd be a small bit of automation that could be very useful to a meat industry, I think. Especially to help keep your grazers from starving if you are trying to be as space-efficient as possible with your pastures.

Would this also make it possible to link pastures to a farmer's workshop, to determine which animals it's allowed to milk and shear?
