Can adventurers clean blood?

So there are those nasty bloodstains in my new palace, anyway to clean it?

I wonder how they got there... Anyways, I'm glad to see that an adventurer like you sees after the people and the palast after the untimely demise of the previous ruler.
About the question: As far as I know, you can't. If it doesn't work with the 'I', the 'u' or the 'x' menu, it is probably not possible (yet).

No. You can only clean it off yourself.

However, you may be able to have a creature made of water wash away the blood stains if it creates a puddle when it dies.

You may be able to grab some water somehow and drop it on the blood stain.

Dropping single units of water on it won't work.
Minecarts hold 2/7 of water,  I think. That should be enough to actually wash things.

Pretty sure adventures can't use mine-carts, and certainly can't find them without a player-made fortress.

They can push and ride them, but I'm not talking about that. Use interact to fill it with water,  then use remove to get it out. It's more about their storage capacity than anything.
You're right about them being hard to find, though.
