"I... I don't really have any questions. It is nice just to be able to feel a still mind for a time."

Tikan remained sitting, breathing in the strangely clear feeling air, and striving to remain as mindful of her surroundings as possible. She worried that she should not have left her companions so swiftly, but it was done now.

Mordekhai has to admit that while killing all of the pirates for their crimes does not seem like a half-bad idea at all judging by the severity of their sins, there are a few problems inherent to that course of action: to start off, they have the advantage of numbers on their side and fighting them can end in some problems for the less resilient members of the party; causing even more death in the damned building is certainly undesirable, and even if Aegnor hadn't been so quick to free them, the crusader is not sure he should act as judge, jury and executioner when faced with helpless enemies.

"Pirates, you are still to be delivered to law enforcement. There is no negotiation on that front." the crusader states with a heavy tone of authority in his voice and a hand on his flail's handle. He turns his head to Aegnor after reminding the criminals they aren't escaping to return to their old lives. "Has the Sister mentioned for how long she is willing to wait? I do not want to let the scum escape but I would rather not leave her to wait for too long." His eyes also unconsciously drift towards Akari, making sure she is unharmed.

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.
>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

((Because she looked like a pirate and you didn't kill her right away.  Wasn't the best justification but I needed something that sounded like a [3] and that's what I came up with.))

((It's time for everyone's favorite game, where in the world has Norrec been and why hasn't there been another post.

It's a bit of a long story, but let it suffice to say that an unfortunate car accident took me out of commission for a while, and my job situation has changed giving me much less free time, and what little I do have is usually spent searching for a job that takes me out of this situation.  I'm still interested in continuing this but to be honest I can make no promises as to how frequently I can actually roll a turn out.  For now, allow me a bit of Dues Ex Machina to advance the story.  *ahem*))

Fleur produces a rope and ties the pirates up.  Nuru, suitably satisfied to let the Zealots decide their fate agrees to watch over them with Fleur.  "Go on now, I promise they'll be here when you get back."  she says, suggesting to the party that they should take the spirits offer to learn the gift of mental focus and clarity.

((Also for the sake of ease, all actions to enter the state of focus Tikan is in are automatically successful and you will find yourself standing alongside her if you choose to accept the spirit's offer, if not, detail what you wish to do though know you won't be able to return to complete the training and you'll have to learn mental focus at a later time if you wish to have that new stat.  If you do accept the offer, go ahead and PM me as the training will take a different form for every character and then you'll all be back in the real world and we can just go from there.))

((Heh, if you makes you feel better, I've got a way to bring her back into the story.  You haven't seen the last of "some OP summoner" quite yet.  Unless the PCs foil my plans of course.))

((I don't know if by "Her" you mean my character, or the enemy who killed me. You are an evil GM, to salt my wounds so.

At least Mordekai is still carrying Nepthym's banner...tho I doubt he remembers why.

It's just vendor trash now.  :'( ))

((Been around the forums less these times since it seems I can't multi-task for my life. Mordekhai could accept that offer after a rather extensive session of questions in order to determine whether the spirit isn't just trying to mess with their minds.

And of course he still remembers. He'd be quick to say "I am still not sure I can trust you. One of the disciples of your now-corrupted goddess killed a friend and I do not forget that easily.".))
