So, yesterday one of my Dwarves was taken by a fey mood.

Oh, a casket. That's... cool. Let's check it out.

Well that's pretty damn metal.

After reading the description, I decided to make a copy of my world, and check out the Legends Viewer, and see what Sarvesh Quillaxe was all about.

Sarvesh's story is a little different. Born in the 2nd year of the world, he was the eldest son in his family. At the ripe young age of 12, he decided it was time to strike out, and make a name for himself. He quickly became a member of The Armored Cult, and after a few years, joined the fortress of Openedgates as a suturer. After 4 years of stitching up patients, he decided that Openedgates wasn't the place for him. He quit his career as a suturer, and moved on to the fortress of Staffdoor.

Sarvesh's rise to power was quick; becoming the king of his new civilization(the Channel of Blood) in the same year that he joined the fortress of Staffdoor, in the year 24. Sarvesh reigned mightily for 6 years, then in the year 30, he profaned his Convent, and was cursed to prowl the night, seeking blood to quench his thirst. For 2 more years, he managed to rule his civilization without raising too many questions, but after a suspicious murder, people started to wonder about their king. Angry, or possibly nervous that he may be found out, Sarvesh laid out a series of oppressive edicts upon his people. After another 4 years without incident, Sarvesh battled a bronze colossus named Mudi Crazycrazes the Disemboweled Tooth, narrowly escaping with his life.

Now, here's where Sarvesh becomes truly interesting: all in all, he has 6,398 kills. 5,444 of those kills are members of his fort, Staffdoors. 183 years later, Quillaxe is still the king of the Channel of Blood. My current fort, Anguishgorge, is a member of the Channel of Blood. One day, Sarvesh Quillaxe will relocate there, and I will make it my personal goal to make sure he lives, and his reign does not end any time soon.

I hope some of you found this as interesting as I did. Long live Sarvesh.

No! No! I will not massacre my children. Instead, I'll make them corpulent on crappy mass-produced quarry bush biscuits and questionably grown mushroom alcohol, and then send them into the military when they turn 12...
