Okay, so, i just picked up dwarf fortress, and sometimes, the names and such are cut off in the display. How do i get t hem to display correctly?

The true-typing can be a bit buggy. Try hitting F12 to toggle it and see if that helps.

It may not be that, so if it continues, post us a picture of the problem so we see what the problem looks like.

You can also use the mouse scroll-wheel to go in and out and 'fix' it (and by fix, I mean 'for a short time' and 'most of the time').

I know this isn't helpful at all. But, I used to have the same problem. The only thing I have changed with Dwarf Fortress is move to a newer version of DFhack. Though I am not sure if that would have any effect on the font.

This causes me no end of grief. I use a tileset, and it only happens when my dwarves start to outnumber my frames.

Always thought it was an issue with the tileset.
