Heh, I can actually understand a tiny bit of the dialogue due to slightly similar languages.
..We should totally get Haspen here to just translate as much dialogue as he can.

It looks nice but i already bought this version (it's a phycial copy added to a magazine) and i'm not too hot about spending 20$ to get more of the same in higher resolution.
Altho if someone does not have it yet i could recommend the game... even tho the price they want now is a little bit steep imo.

So our adventures continue on from when we put a new satelite in low orbit of some uninhabited planet!
We still however are in dire need of work credits and experience.. so why not try doing another mission for the goverment... but first let's check out the news.

The news are a valuable source of information for bounty hunters and traders alike as they contain information about planetary sales and pirate infestations. Well pretty much everything important that happened in the last 40 or so says is logged on the news.
In this case they inform us about:
1 - Rise in military activity in system Hemni. It is speculated thet an attack on dominators accupyng sector Kapella is likely to happen march 31
(they will likely win the battle and liberate the system but you can go and scavenge some dominator tech and maybe even kill one or two to get a medal and military rank that translates to cheaper repair at military bases and other bonuses).
2 - Ship Bambay Bobodel and its crew are being held in prison at planet Trad Rack for 2 months (not immediately important for you but if you had a mission to destroy this ship... well you pretty much failed it right now)
3 - Planet Animark in system Ozeum holds a sale of luxury goods. (Obvious cue for pirates and traders alike)

Also as a bonus for a small fee you can track the last location of pretty much every ship in the galaxy so if you REALLY want to kill/rob the top trader in your universe you can track him down and do your stuff.

Ok now let's go ask for a mission.

The governor wants us to transport a shipment of red buttons to some planet. The money offered is kinda meh but remember that missions also give experience points and might reward us with item mods and artifacts so the reward is more than just a handfull of credits.
However we can also ask for something easier or harder. Easy delivery jobs are... well easy since you get plenty of time, average are usually calculated so that with a normal ship you literally arrive with barely any time to spare and hard is for people with twinked out speedboats.

Right... mission: check. Fuel: check whare are we supposed to go anyway... uhhh...

So we're in Altan and we have to deliver the package to Pollux till the end of april... no problem we'll just jump to Ozeum refuel then to Taron and we should have a beeline to the planet we're supposed to drop the load.

Uh oh... guess we have to go through Avior because Taron is JUST out of reach...

We take a peek of Malok architecture on our stop for refuel... it kinda reminds me of something but can't put my finger on it.

Taron is just BARELY in range.
Ok so let's stop for refuel in this cozy little private outpost...


He represents the management of this fine establishment. You can ask him some questions about the dominators and he's quite happy to answer... for a price. Also if you attain some renown in their circles they can supply you with cheap equipement repairs and homebrew dominator components you can exchange for modifications for your equipement at ranger stations

More or less at this time i realized i'm not getting there on time no matter what i'll do so i decided to dump the cargo at the sation and try myself at a new occupation.
Ranger/Trader with 0% shields (no shield installed) should be easy...
And it was

The guy fell onto his knees after the very first salvo and offered money... it's a trivial sum but will pay for my ammo and fuel costs on my way back home.
I want to check up on my satelite after all.
Besides there's a military vessel closing up on us and i don't want any of it.

The plains and oceans of parakledo were mostly skanned with only mountains remaining.. let's land and see what the satelite managed to find...

Well i'll be... a micromodule and a very good one at that. It increases the power of any grappler you put it on by 70 (the basic grappler we started with (and sold) had a max power of 40 so this mod would more than double it... sadly we don't have any grapplers nor the space to install one but it will come in handy when we get a new ship.
The remaining items are not as hot. It's 2 small pockets of minerals and a wrecked repair doid... and a giant one at that takes a total of 80 "space" units (both of our rocket launchers take up only 40 space in comparison)

It's a black hole! Let's fly into it!

When flying into black holes you have to fight off increasingly tougher enemies in a top down arcade mode with powerups strewn around to help you (the the enemy ships). The first hole is pretty easy with only one ship but with time you will have to face more and more enemy ships untill you encounter a black hole that leads to a boss battle. Every won wormhole encounter gives you some exp and an artifact you can install into your ship that gives you various sometimes exotic bonuses... they work more or less like rings in normal RPGs

Aaand this is my enemy. Its the first hole so he's alone you can see the lifebars under our ships.

And... well i wanted to make more in combat screenshots than usual and i... well that's the reason you don't make screenshots in combat.. and i didn't even take a good shot of my exploding ship because the flame died down before i realized what happened... OH WELL

This next run I vote we attempt to become the fastest ship alive. Use rocket launchers as chaff to cover our escapes and maybe we could play a trader.

Yeah i wanted to make some screenshots while looking for a health pickup and kinda slammed into him and are a full barrage of frag cannon bolts/shells.
I'll try trading next time.
