masterwork dwarf fortress wont start

i downloaded all the things i need but it wont start. windows just says it has stopped and not responding. if ANYONE can help i would be EVER so happy. it would be awesome if someone could post a step-by-step tutorial on just HOW to download it. thank you for your help :D

Start by updating the .NET package on your computer, then if didn't help post your problem in the MW bugreports thread with a proper description of the error and the version of your windows.
