Get our Spool Gun out, and open fire on him.

On the.officer to be specific. Once he's dead we can hopefully run away and hide again.

((Lemme be more specific about the room layout first.))

The hangar is pretty big, several dozen square meters. You guys are close to the South wall, located near the middle of it where the connecting corridor is. You have some tall and wide cover provided by the power cells. It's impossible to shoot over them unless you blind fire. The East wall is a giant drop-down door that's over a meter of heavy metal. It's raised right now, and the two hovers have their back ends just under it, backed slightly into the hangar, with their loading ramps down. Crewmen are visible wandering around deep inside them. The West wall is an office and you can also see a few other doors that probably lead to storage and other mechanical facilities. They're all closed and the office is unoccupied.

The middle of the hangar has scattered cargo, crates in a range of sizes and shapes, from small ones the size of your head to ones bigger than a car. Great for hiding. You can see at least twenty Zabi troopers scattered throughout the place, all burdened with some kind of cargo. These are notably unarmored and only some have decent weapons. Assorted sub-rifles and fractals, but at least a sidearm.

The hanger walls have a catwalk that runs around the upper level, forming a perimeter. There are controls and whatnot for messing with the various powered hooks and arms that hang from the ceiling, most suspending vehicles or parts of them. There are ladders at intervals along the walls for accessing the walk.

On the North walk can be seen the Zabi officer and his entourage, a personal guard of seven Zabi troops in standard green-type ceram, all carrying laser rifles. The officer's uniform is far cleaner now and is properly buttoned. He also replaced his hat. He doesn't appear to be armed, but he's wearing some kind of backpack. His hands are folded behind his back as he keeps a watchful eye on the workers below. His guards are evenly spaced, at least one standing at each ladder on that side. Like their leader, they all seem to be preoccupied with watching the workers.

You still don't know the officer's actual rank or status. It's clear that he has general authority over this operation though.

Lob a pulse grenade at the grunts.

Down the captan and the regulars with the spool gun before firing at the remaining grunts.

You lob a pulse amongst the grunts and duck. It goes off before any of them can react, peppering everything, including the hapless soldiers, with dozens of clean holes each about the size of a man's fist. Eight of the grunts are killed outright, their skulls or chests punched by a direct hit, and only four are unwounded by the deadly beams of energy. The men scream in surprise and pain and fall, crawling and leaping and dragging one another into cover. They're obviously panicked.

The Zabi Regulars are alert, they raise their weapons and sweep them from side to side, searching for the source of the attack. They don't have to look long as the roaring and incredibly distinctive buzz of your Spool Gun echoes throughout the hangar from the far side of the deck. The Zabi officer's eyes widen in the instant before a rain of shells slams into him. You're surprised however when, rather than explode into a mist of red as you expected he would, instead when the shells strike him they deflect and float off of his body. He's thrown against the wall behind him by the sheer impact, but he remains miraculously intact as you continue to hose him. You're forced to quit and duck back behind the power cells as the soldiers on the catwalk hastily return fire. Beams of energy lance over your head and burn the ground and the wall around you.

Meanwhile the crews of the hovers scramble to prepare their vehicles for departure. Their engines cough and spin to life.

Pulse Grenade at the Regulars, then open fire on the Grunts. Have Biggs and Wedge try to mow down anything that survives.
