raven plague

how do i deal with dozens of them pestering around my fortress,they cant even be butchered
i have killed over 30 of them and they still somehow find a way to be around my entrance
not even my modded magma crab turrets manage to deal with em

unless you manage to kill the entire local (or maybe world, not sure) population of ravens you won't see any decrease in their number outside of random variation.  Just make more magma crab turrets I guess?

Weapon traps are what I use to deal with buzzards/annoying-bird-things. Then you just need to put the bird-bits in a dump or refuse stockpile afterwards, and that's that.

Worse comes to worse, trap them and cage them. If you keep enough of them caged, no more wild creatures will enter your map on the surface - no more ravens.

You can always have your marksdwarves use them for target practice. It'll create a big mess of scattered bolts, so, make sure that its safe for your dwarves to go pick them up en masse.

Having quantum stockpiles for bolts helps to speed up collection of bolts.
