Calendar Bug?
« on: March 29, 2014, 08:18:26 pm »

I wonder if anybody else has seen this, and if anybody knows of a way to fix it.  I am now on my second fort where the date changes upon unpausing the game after load.  I saved and exited the game on 26th timber, late autumn.  The dwarven caravan had just arrived and things were fine.  When I load that save, the date is still 26th Timber.  When I unpause the game however, the world experiences some weird kind of temporal anomaly, and the date changes to 1st Sandstone, mid-autumn.  Even more strange, my military schedule screen has Moonstone highlighted as the current month.  This is causing all kinds of weird problems, like frozen lakes/rivers all of a sudden unfreezing, and my military seems to refuse to do anything, possibly because they don't know what date it is.

Any thoughts on this?  I loaded my Autumn autosave, 1st limestone is the date and it stays that way when I unpause.  The military screen has Sandstone highlighted as current though, which is still weird.

- known bug in 4i, pointed out a lot
- fixed in 4j
- related to gnomes, but happens to all races
- no known bad effects besides some seasons taking a few days longer and making it a bit harder to read through the announcements menu

I did some searching to see if I could find anything about this, wasn't able to find anything.  Maybe my search-fu is weak.

Thanks for the reply.  Didn't know there was an update until after I posted, glad to hear that it's fixed.
