You made a typo there.
Wow, I didn't even catch that.

A word of advice: you'll want to save the name "colonist manager" for something else, probably. I'd recommend renaming the job thing to "job manager."

That, or something like "Outpost Administration" or something.

Holy crap, why did I not start watching One Punch Man earlier? This is the best thing.

I like Outpost Administration.

ah! sorry I haven't had anything new in a while. I had a long weekend (made in part longer by unexpected snowstorms!) and am now working on a quick game for Candy Jam - http://itch.io/jam/candyjam - "celebrating" stupid lawsuits everywhere.

the jam ends February 3rd, so I'll be done by then, if not sooner. and then: back to A Little Wilderness :)

AT LAST!

I finished my submission for itch.io's CANDY JAM! it's absolutely in no way anything remotely similar to A Little Wilderness, but here it is: http://benmakesgames.itch.io/at-the-edge-of-candy-space-a-memory it's a 30-45 minute-long sci-fi RPG adventure.

for those more interested in the 1840's colonization of the western US, sorry for the delay. I look forward to resuming work on A Little Wilderness :)

[edit] I dunno what WordPress's problem is, so I just uploaded it elsewhere, and updated the download link. http://benmakesgames.com/download/A Little Wilderness (alpha 1).zip

The is pretty fun. I feel like the menu could be better when selecting jobs and changing the town name though.

You can change the town name? News to me, clicking on it didn't seem to do anything on the embark screen.

Not being able to put exploration flags in the black makes it a really slow experience.

Should be able to do something with the squirrels - make them into meat and furs, maybe?

The edge of the world is sudden, but things still walk on the endless void.
