So, Generating my first world in advanced world gen. Tweaked a few savageness and volcanism parameters, and started browsing legends around year 350.  Then I found this guy.



So, he's a king, and he has killed over 7 thousand individuals. It seems like a pretty cool thing to have.  As long as you start from the right civ on Embark, you are almost guaranteed to bring this guy in once your wealth hits the right level, and you, too, can have an murderous dwarf vampire king!

Doesn't it count kills from blood drinking too? I'm thinking that a relatively low amount of the kills were from glorious combat and the rest were about equivalent with the number of cows / chickens / pigs you'd kill over a few hundred years of good eating. Wonder what his stats are like.

Also now I'm thinking of him as a plump little homicidal dwarven gourmand, who's only goal in life is to sample the most exquisite vintages that his subjects produce.

Yes, it seems that drinking blood counts as kills for him.  Still, it's a good way to get a guaranteed vamp dwarf, since he's the king and all.  How would I go about figuring his stats, without achieving a fortress status high enough to attract him?

achieve a fortress status high enough to attract him using DFhack, AFTER backing up your save, bring him, screenshot the stats, use "die" command in dfhack to quit without saving. Done.
Also, make your fort all vampire before bringing him in, so he'll truly be a ruler of the undead .
Btw, the dude murdered his own "unknown creature" wife, that tells a lot about him

Does 'unknown creature' have it's own entry? Also, I wonder if the actual name shows up when run through Legends Viewer.
