My girlfriend was telling me a while back about this party she was at in Hawaii once, where the hosts had a huge rugged property and a bunch of ATV quad bikes. People paired up, one driver and one gunner sitting backward, just blazing around paintballing each other in the dark. Ambushes, stealthy movement with the lights off, etc. Sounded like a blast.

Quads don't do quiet, but I suppose it's possible. Also, can I RSVP a spot for the next time it happens?

If I go paintballing again, I'm getting one of those ten quid padded vest thingies for it. I don't want to be shot from a few meters away again with minimal clothing (it was summer. The layers I had was basically an army camo onesie (provided by the company so you don't get paint covered clothes)), and a T-shirt. If I wore any more, I would have melted.
Wuss :P

Speaking of summer paintball, back in January I joined a group of friends for paintball. We started around 9.30am when it wasn't too hot, but later in the day the heat got overwhelming and people started ditching their onesies coveralls. Twas a good idea.. until highlander mode.

Then I tripped in the sand :/

But all in all it was a fun outing :D

Did it once at camp. It was great fun, but I had a bit of a painful moment when the first shot I was ever hit by both failed to pop and hit me right in about the most painful spot on the calf.
