So, uhhh, I can get Adventurer Mode to run easy, and I can even get some pretty good FPS on it too, but I can't run DF mode, it just freezes as soon as I unpause. Any tilesets or utilities or etc. that could help? Windows XP, around 20 GB of data (Ik, my pc sucks D:) and I have average cards.

What's the RAM, and how much stuff is on in the background? (noting freezes DF like having a virus scan in the background)

Also what size areas are you embarking on, that makes a big difference, as does streams, volcanoes, and the ocean.

Have you tried downloading the legacy version? It's less optimized, but ought to have a better chance of working.

Try regenning with a pocket world with short history.

RAM- Uhhh, I don't really know-- I'll report if I find it...
I don't have programs on (Besides BYOND sometimes, but rarely only.)
I usually go on pocket with short history. Not much special world areas.
Whenever my internet gets faster I should look on that legacy thing- Huh, took me a bit to download normal.
