During Putins first session as president, he pretty much turned Russia and its economy around, pretty much instantly.

No one really knows how the hell he pulled it off.

If by "nobody" you mean "everybody who follows recent Russian history".

Isn't Russia kinda known for huge economic shifts happening very quickly? I recall one of their leaders basically dragged Russia out of the mud and modernized it (relatively speaking) in the span of one reign. Or am I misremembering?
