DF-Inspired Minecraft Server!

Hey guys, I'm trying to recruit for a server that I play on. It's loosely inspired by Dwarf Fortress, there's a few elements of LOTR, etc, in there as well.

Pick from 4 races, choose from 4 main jobs and get to it!
Dwarves/humans/kobolds/elves, each with their own advantages and disadvantages. Each with their own massive home town.

Possibly-better subboard.

Is there any way to play on such a server without buying/pirating Minecraft? Free/Demo version, maybe?

'Fraid not. Gotta have bought it, as far as I'm aware it doesn't support pirated versions.

GWG frequently people buy a multi-pack of Minecraft and give the extras away to their friends: might try one of the game-giveaway threads on here.
