So when i use k then d to discard stuf into my rubish heap it doesnt show on the job list and doesnt get done, wut do i do? and ty.

The items you wish to dump are probably forbidden--which means dwarves will ignore them. If the item has {curly braces} around it, it's forbidden.

There not forbidden, ive had this problem before. This is a fort i have retaken (2nd embark)

Do you have a refuse pile or a garbage dump? I don't mean to imply any inexperience, but they are very different things. If you're relying on piles and zones created in the first pass, then as far as I know, stockpiles and activity zones aren't saved across reclaims,

If the items are outside you need to tell dwarves they can pick up refuse from outside with the orders menu.

k > d (or d > b > d) is Dump. Dump means dwarves will move the item into a Garbage Dump activity zone (i menu), where they will be forbidden. It will not make them move the item into a refuse stockpile, and the o > r refuse menu has nothing to do with it. (Pardon my error--apparently o > r does affect dumping from outside. Garbage dumps and refuse stockpiles are still very separate things though.)

Ahk i is working now, but how do i throw things of an edge? that would be cool to know, Like goblins and kittens.
