What is Homestruck? Where is the game?

I have prior knowledge about Homestruck, but I have no idea what's going on? They have to save the world from trolls or are they the protagonists? Is it based off the internet, is it a game, because I don't know where it is. I typed it up on bing and went on the website to find the game. I didn't find anything.

I got my prior knowledge from playing the FortBent mod. I hypothesized that it's some sort of RPG?

Homestuck is a webcomic (though there's been games spun off, more or less, from it). We have a thread, though its OP is fairly useless. Google will find you a link to the website.

It's a webcomic. A very long one, about 6800 pages in total, that includes all the flash games and animations. Honestly, you're better off reading it than spoiling it for yourself.

Do note that it's "Homestuck", which might have been responsible for Google's failure.

There will be a Homestuck adventure game; it's been kickstarted, and will be released sometime late this year I think.

The homepage for Homestuck is mspadventures.com; it was originally a glorified suggestion game, but eventually Andre Hussie (the author) locked the suggestion boxes and took over the plot.

If you enjoy hilariously convoluted plotlines, weird time shenanigans, and RPG parodies, you'll probably love it. On the other hand, if you dislike any of the above, swearing, or not knowing what's going on, you probably won't like it. I suggest you read it and find out! It gets more serious as it goes along, and significantly more streamlined.

It's currently over 750000 words long, and gigapaused; the next time it updates will probably be in June or thereabouts, and that will be the last, probably internet-shattering update.

What is it with people misspelling it as Homestruck anyway I mean nobody has been struck by a house yet Oh dammit Jade you had to ruin this didn't you.
