embark map legend for ironhand?
« on: February 04, 2014, 02:11:49 pm »

Does anyone know of a map legend for the embark screen when using Ironhand's graphics?  I found a post where he verbally describes the obvious stuff (mountains, trees, etc), but I need to know what all the site/civilization icons mean.

I found this for Phoebus.  Is this mapping the same for all tilesets?

The small cottages & goblets = elven retreats.
The dwarf statues = dwarven cities.
The cabinets = goblin towers.
The wells = human fortresses.
The metal ore symbol, teddies, chests, 3 vertical bar tile, stockpile tile & smooth floor tile = human settlements.

'n' = hills.
'V' = badlands.

Also, what about recent elements added to the game.  I see lots of symbols that I don't have the faintest idea what they stand for.

Thanks.

Worst case, you can compare the position on the phoebus tileset with this: http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/DF2012:Tilesets.
