Essentially, this is a game in which we simulate the various game patch notes threads/whatever, adding new content, fixing bugs, improving game balance etc.
I think you've seen a changelog/patch notes before.
The general versioning is:
Major (increasing this number indicates a huge change within the code, like a complete re-write, a massive re-balance etc.) ie. 1.0.0, 2.0.0 etc.
Minor (medium-sized patches, like an addition of new (but major) features etc. Basically everything that isn't big enough to be a major version and not small enough to be a release) 1.1, 2.34 etc.
Release (small patches, like an addition of something that was delayed from the minor release, a couple of bugfixes etc.) - 1.1.3, 4.54.5 etc.
Hotfix (indicated in small-case letters rather than numbers, these can be released after any of the above versions, indicating the versions released to fix major game-breaking bugs present in the previous version etc., starting at b) - 1.0b, 2.4b, 3c.24e.1d)
Also feel free to post your "opinions" on the given release below them in your posts if you want to, discussing the changes, hinting at potential future versions, asking questions etc. etc.
