I'll admit, the possibility of claiming the artifacts i made in Fortress Mode in Adventure Mode is often a sizeable part of why i play the former. However, i don't have the time to make my own fortresses, and i do want to play a adventure mode with a good scattering of artifacts and most of the enemy's alive. Any suggestions?

I'd been under the impression only your dwarves create artifacts. I could easily be wrong.

Without playing the fortress mode, the only artifacts in the world will be necromancers' books and slabs, are those what you are after? Then just generate a world and set the Secrets to maximum number.

What I'm after are world saves where other players have started fortresses, had artifacts created, and made adventurers to take those artifacts into the world to rest alongside their soon to be dead bodies. Some recent research of mine has turned up Museum Worlds, where the point is for players to try to recover ye legendary artifacts and store them in a agreed location. I want that, without the storing.

Your best bet would be to download community saves from DFFD, though since those are generally of active fortresses, you'd have to abandon before starting your Adventurer.
