Meanwhile the rest of the Reddit is railing against some unheard from majority that is loudly proclaiming the end of Bitcoin. I've seen a number of those Anti-Bitcoiners, but they are solidly in the minority.

Meh i make more money spending a week mining gold than bitcoins nowadays. I dropped out when it broke 100 but this is ridiculous.

Meanwhile, I've followed all instructions, and everything for mining doge works perfectly, except I have a hash rate of 0 for no adequately explained reason. Dammit, I think I'll be unable to participate in this joke.

“So that the room will be empty.”

Well, I have a miner running, finally. Evidently I needed to set the work size. Now I just need to wait for the website to update to reflect my contributions? We'll see.

Bah fuck it, installing Dogecoin to try out this crypto-shitzo for shits and giggles. Much coin, so crypto, very wow, much dig.  Maybe even a bitcoin wallet thing too.  Worst I guess is I can post an address or however it works for donations and shit for lulz, or maybe even finish some of my dumb shit finally and accept Doge and Bit for payments :P

I have 4.58 DOGE now. So hip. Very rich. Much faucets.
According to this pricing thing, a DOGE is worth .00000053  BTC right now, and a BTC is worth 622, which makes my grand total worth: $.0015
Am I a crypto Hipster yet?
DOGE: best gag gift ever.

So I went all in, now: slumdoge millionare, so rich. wow.

I guess I'll need to stretch out my computer 1 more year, all for a joke :P /slowlybeginspayingselfback

Unless I speculate I guess, or it suddenly takes off.  I saw someone buy a car with DOGE... so....
anyway... time to play the game. /sawdoge

Edit: much gif, very sig, wow.
If people put tiny links in sigs, I might start donating for good posts (as I guess thats kinda the thing people are using DOGE for now)

Testing ways to do this... pretty sure its case sensitive too, hrmm...

Edit 2: hrmm, I see it on my profile page but it doesn't show up when browsing forum. Odd....

Edit 3: I guess maybe its just B12 forums says NO IMG! in signature. Or its in my settings somewhere, checking...

Edit 4: Derp, yep, settings made the image disappear.

It's only really possible to exchange dogecoins into bitcoins, and then you're left with the same "it's difficult to cash out" problem.

Anyway, update on adventures in dogecoin. Wow.

So far, I've exchanged Doge for about $71 worth of games for self/friends (example: 15k for a copy of Starbound).  Prices taken for games at current sale rate/whatever on steam.
My game trades/purchases average at $1.98 / 1000 currently, low at .71, high at 2.75
I've mined/been donated just above 23k (hashrate ~ 215 on GTX 570 classified, while doing other stuff too), spent about 46.5 k, given away about 5k to friends or as giveaways or charities (example: theres an animal shelter thats taking Doge right now too that I gave to. For fun, one of my giveaway included 'lets play a game' JigDoge here: http://doges.org/index.php/topic,5104.0.html ).  My current Doge assets is about 971k, I bought 1M at $460 when it crashed down before it shot back up later (and now its trickling down again).

Did sign up for reddit, interesting community in the dogecoin subreddit. I see lots and lots and lots of tippy, much overuse of meme (which I'm guilty of myself), and an insanely fast growth rate (already bigger subreddit and activity than litecoin).  Even got gifted reddit gold fairly quickly.

On the doge market itself: tons and tons of scams everywhere, you really got to watch out.  I guess its an issue everywhere with crypto though.  Theres Dogewallet, an online wallet, that pretty much lost it all... but so far has managed to pay back all(most?) investors and some holders, and theres a donation drive as well to pay back the rest (fyi, online wallet = bad idea).  I think theres been some bad pools too, and of course just straight up paypal chargebacks and skullduggery (and lots of people getting paypal closed due to trading in cryptocurrencies).  Much wild west. Wow.

Overall fairly interesting and somewhat fun: I see people starting to offer services, selling / paywhatyouwant games, etc with doge too.  I'm fairly sure later it'll swing wildly up and down just like all the others, and of course be subject to pump/dump bubble bursting too.  As is: such game. Wow.

Edit: link added here: http://www.dailydot.com/business/save-dogemas-christmas-heist/

Edit 2: Guess also worth mentioning, someone bought a car for 1.516M http://www.reddit.com/r/dogemarket/comments/1tnf5h/94_honda_civic_sold_at_dogemarket_congrats_to/

Edit 3: And just bought Kerbal Space Program with monopoly... er Doge money.  Even if I lose, I think I win now.
