Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane works like this. A player gives a desciption of a fantastical, impossible event happening in a relatively mundane setting (A horde of zombies wandered down the street and pushed over a truck), then the next player supplies a, if not strictly logical or realistic, reasonable explanation (The zombies were a bunch of crackheads who got out of a jail then raised hell while still high on a cocktail of drugs: junkies can be surprisingly strong especially if they're on something similar to say, PCP). Then, they supply their own fantastical impossible event.

A six foot wolf man was reportedly sighted by two hikers at night. In the morning, a naked hiker who went missing the previous night arrived into town within a fugue state, eventually claiming after recovery that he had turned into a werewolf the previous night.

This one is pretty easy. Six feet is perfectly within the normal human height range, so seeing someone this tall is not out of the ordinary. The hikers likely saw a very bearded man, and due to the darkness of the night, his facial features could not be made out very well.

Some scuba divers report seeing mysterious lights near the bottom of the ocean. Upon the scuba divers taking a closer look, they report a large underwater city, with unknown lifeforms scrambling around inside.

A combination of bioluminescent organisms, unfamiliarity with the more Lovecraftian denizens of the depths, and nitrogen narcosis.

Snoop Dog was recruited by the CIA for a secret mission to infiltrate a Colombian drug cartel.

Robed man spotted jogging alongside a cruise ship in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, apparently walking on water.

The "rational" explanation was stranger than the apparent situation.

Since no-one has posted a magic event yet...

Bodies have been turning up drained of blood in their own homes. There is no wounds on the bodies apart from two pin-sized holes on the neck. The doors are usually smashed down, but the strength required to do so is way above human level.

It's a cult of crazies that think they're vampires.

Reports have been popping up of children being kidnapped and replaced with beings that eat without end by small creatures that glow slightly.

I was aiming for that. I just failed, I guess.

I dunno about the small creatures, but that sounds a lot like adolescence.
