IRC Channel?

Hey there!
I know there's several DF IRC channels out there already, most of them discussing the game and our tragic attempts to play it. Still, DF's playerbase is fairly large, and it can feel kind of impersonal some times, seeing so many people you don't recognize in them every time you log in.
Is there any channel for Bay12 Forum's regulars? Should we make one? Would anybody be interested?

Haven't heard of darkmyst before. I generally use freenode's servers.
Ty for info. I wonder if you can connect to it through major IRC clients?
