Ways to show off with HTML/CSS
« on: February 04, 2014, 11:33:04 am »

So, I am taking a Web Design class. I really hate it, and wanted Programming, but there were scheduling conflicts (I have 5 honors classes, so my schedule is a bit less flexible than average), so here I am. I have got all the assignments done the same period they are assigned, and just finished cross-linking all my pages just to show off. (It's not that complicated for me, but the teacher doesn't know that yet.)

Fortunately, the teacher is allowing me to do additional stuff for extra credit, so my question is: what are some good ways to show off with HTML or CSS?

I suggest that we add a clause permitting the keelhauling of anyone who suggests a plan involving "zombify the crew".

css animations?

http://www.w3schools.com/css/css3_animations.asp

I am also taking a web markup class and did some hilarious things but they were all javascript-related, not HTML- or CSS-related.

My real favorite is batch file shenanigans. My assigned computer in the comp lab has a batch file in the startup folder that makes Matrix-style falling code pop up whenever you log in.
